Let's see your shifters!

It isn't in yet, but here's what will be going in.
I used the same shifter kit as you, 73FordF100, but I was lucky enough to find some old shifters at the junkyard (4 for $25, including a '60s model Hurst 4 speed). One of them was a '70s Mr. Gasket 4 speed from a truck. I took the stick out of that, modified it slightly, and bolted it up to my Hurst kit. It has a large coarse thread, so I was able to use a broom handle shifter from an '88 White/GMC cabover. I gained about 4 inches of height over the standard chrome stick.
I know, it looks like it should have a big orange switch for the 2 speed rear end taped to it somewhere...but I think it is much more comfortable than the shorter chrome stick and the black shift ball.

One would think that a guy with a truck this clean would have removed the lever and changed the plastic on the column so it would no longer have the two shoft levers.
Surely with all of the gauges and switches he could have put the OD buttom somewhere else.
Just being critical today. Tired and its been a long day already.
