Puddle lights
Have a 2018 f250 just in a XL trim package. Does anyone know if I can just buy puddle lights and will be plug and play into my existing mirror? Instead of having the light it just has a plastic cover over it. Was curious if I could just purchase a set of lights and it would be plug and play? Or is this something that needs wired in.

There is a bezel for an AC duct that has the switches so not just a plug and play option and I would guess the wiring is not there either. Look on the frame below the rear door and see if you have an "unused" wire and weatherproof plug on each side of the truck. If you do you can add lights to that wire very easily.
