What issue are you trying to solve with a different ECM? Unless you're absolutely positive the ECM is the issue, adding such a significant variable could really increase your troubleshooting effort.
In addition to the ECM you would also need the PATS module with the ignition key and key cylinder as the anti-theft is married to the ECM and VIN. The PATS module is more than just the key. I'm not certain whether or not the instrument cluster in the 2000 is also married to the ECM or not.
