I would recommend against bedliner. They used it under my datsun 240z to cover up some shoddy work. Rust spread underneath it and it was hell to remove and fix properly.

I was thinking the same thing. I have had good luck with bed liner using it for impact protection in my truck beds, I have never used it for any other application.
