I have 4 subscriptions with them, used to have 5. I renew each yearly and always do the promo pricing for 50% of standard rate. I’d drop them in a minute if I had to pay those astronomical regular rates.

I can't even listen to say radio. The sound is so bad... I can't even believe that they brag about their superior audio.

I recently had a round of bouts with the customer service reps after my last year subscription was about to expire . I was on a $99 a year plan. Something has changed because once they add on the taxes, billing fees and music royalty fees the $99 deal is more like $125. I told them I was not willing to pay a dime more than $99 for their annual service. After consulting with a manager they would not budge and I just canceled.

My wife has all access for $30 every 6 months on her vehicle, I know they can do better. I have heard the music royalty fees are going up so maybe this is a contributing factor.

I've got everything except NFL for $5/mo for 12 months. Just last month I got the same deal for my wife's car so the deal is definitely alive and well. Everything I've read, just be firm on what you want and you'll get it.

The rep told me last month that $5/mo for 12 months promo was active but it’s been replaced with a $99 12 month deal. I’ll wait until my current plans expire and then see what they offer.

They suck. Along with Dish Network. I guess I am just getting old, but IME, both of those companies run a shady, if not flat out crooked business model. I stream Pandora. For free. Never used more then a gig of data in a month. I can live with that.

One of the worst companies to deal with. About 2 months ago I told them to cancel my service and they countered with an offer of $108 bucks a year. Refused to give them my card number and told them to bill me like they have for the past 12 yrs. I get the bill and in small print it was for 6 months. Called them and they got nasty with me over the phone...told them to cancel my service and they can ram it up their ***. Still have my service and haven't gotten a bill yet. Maybe they didn't like my Cajun accent when I got nasty at their foreign sounding phone *****s!

Just got my renewal notice on my old radio... $308.00. Called and cancelled - no pressure for renewal, they just asked why. Told them it was too expensive and to please credit back my card. They said ok. Waiting to cancel the one in my truck next month.... we'll see what they say on that one.

If I drove my truck more and if they truly didn't play ANY commercials, I might be willing to continue after my trial period...but I don't think so...stream in Pandora or Amazon Prime or downloaded music thru my phone...

You don't have to wait. Call them now and cancel. Your service will continue until the end of current contract.

Probably the biggest reason they pissed me off.. If I want to know when the next Spice Girls concert is, I would look it up... and if I want to listen to the NFL, I KNOW there is an NFL channel, and.. if I gave a rats *** about where Martha Quinn, Alan Hunter, or either of the Julie Browns spent Christmas, I would look that crap up too.. I don't care. shut up and play some "80's on 8" for heck's sake. Etc Etc.

Each time I get a renewal at the current crazy expensive rate, I just call to cancel and they have always offered whatever the current special is to keep me. The first time they don’t, I’ll cancel and be done with it.

I was reading through this thread and just about to post about how terrible it sounds. It's horrible in my truck and in my wifes new Honda. Give me FM or spotify anyday...I'll tune in every once in a while for my 6 months but its done after that.

Back in the day I had a pioneer head unit with the XM module and it sounded great. I've never heard it sound decent when equipped on a factory unit.
