Just a heads up for those of you that are new to Sirius XM. I just got charged $283 for 12 months of All Access. Obviously Im not paying retail so a quick call to Sirius I was offered 6 months of All Access for $50 and a free Amazon Echo. I'm sure there are people on here paying even less. Just wanted to put it out there incase someone was new to SiriusXM and up for renewal soon. Definitely don't have to pay full retail. They will bargain with you.
My trial subscription doesn’t expire until June 2019, but I called Sirius when I saw a $60 for 12 month deal on the Internet. I signed up, and my new one-year subscription doesn’t kick in until my trial period expires. I went for the middle level plan, 140 channels I think. I wasn’t interested in listening to Howard Stern which seems to be their BIG selling point for the All Access Plan. Without the $60 deal, the annual cost would have been $244. That’s a bit too rich for me and my better half. I suspect these “bargain” annual plans are always available to those who care to ask.

Exactly. The selling point for me on the All Access plan is the sports channels. Without those I would just turn it off lol.
Since my truck is parked from Nov thru April, I will call in May and activate for 6 mos - 35 bucks + taxes and fees, cancel in Nov. If you don't call to cancel, you get an automatic renewal at the prevailing rate.

^^^^This! And never give them a credit card to bill to. Require that they invoice you. The $2 charge is well worth it!

I discovered this many years ago. If they have your card and you try to cancel, get ready to spend half a day on the phone. SiriusXM is one of the vendors that my bank's bill pay service will pay electronically. So when the bill arrives I can simply pay it online with the rest of the monthly bills. Or not if I want to hold out for a better deal. I hold the cards, not them.
Haven't paid for Sirius since 2007 when they had lifetime subscription offers... wish they'd being back as would like to get another for wifes focus
My wife bought a new Chrysler 300 in 2016. Subscription was supposed to be for one year. She's still on that one and has never gotten a bill. Funny because they keep sending her offers to come back. But the service has never gone away on her.
My next Forscan change will be to remove Sirius from the menu. I never subscribed, and when demo license expired endless calls where really a pita. I went on ther Facebook and told them to go away.
For an entertaining hour just read some of the horror stories all over the internet about the shady billing practices, etc. of SiriusXM. I can't think of another company that has generated more complaints, headaches, and trouble than Sirius. Their customer retention people are the stuff of legend. Its unfortunate because after my subscription ran out I seriously considered keeping it (I like the comedy channels and it is convenient) but I refuse to do business with a company that treats its customers that way and the sound quality wasn't very good (actually it sucks). I never understood why a current customer should have to jump through so many hoops to keep their subscription at a reasonable price and new customers are enticed with low ball offers to join. I realize they want the new customers but at the expense of the current customer?!?! If its not on FM I stream free using my phone and the sound quality is 100% better.

I just got off the phone with Sirius. I have 3 vehicles with service currently.
Focus just expired
Leaf has a promotion that’s scheduled to expire 2/15
2019 F350 6 month new car subscription expires 3/25
The $60 12 month promo is no longer available. It is replaced with a $99 12 month deal and they only offered it on my Focus and F350
There are no promos available on my Leaf. Only the expensive standard rates.
I told them to please let all my subscriptions expire. After they expire we will see if I get any offers.
This is the rigmarole I go through every time as well. Just have to cancel, but yeah, have to call every time, make them reverse charges, and truly be willing to cancel when they get stupid.

Absolutely ^^^^^^^^^ You can almost tell them what you want to pay. When I renewed the wife's 6mos subscription earlier this month.... I called to cancel at the end of last 6 mos subscr, told them it wasn't worth their full price to me to continue, as I only listened to about 12 stations. They went into their "since you're a valued customer routine" and pitched me their "new deal". I declined and told them I wasn't going to pay more than I paid for the last 6 mos. I told them to go ahead and cancel my service. CSR put me on a short hold, then came back with an offer to continue my service at the same rate I paid for the last 6 mos.....LOL

Same here with my 2009 Audi, that trial never expired. Even now that I've sold the A4 nearly a year ago to a friend, they still have the service active and it costs them nothing. Wish I could have lucked into that with my F350 trial!
