I don't know if anyone else has heard this today but Ford is offering 0% for up to 60 months on select F-150 trucks. The offer will only last from 2/14 - 2/20.
GM is doing the same thing. On a $30K vehicle a 7% new car loan rate would cost (60 months loan) about $5,800 in interest. So, in essence GM/F are back to the old ways of moving units. MAJOR DISCOUNTS.
If you go to fordvehicles.com and look up the incentives, this deal is shown for 2006's. There are the regular low 2.9% for 60 on pretty much all 2007's. Per the site, this deal is until 4/2/07.
Did you get your info online or did you see a TV commercial? If it's TV it may be a regional deal.
FWIW, in my neck of the woods, the only 2006's left are the one's they've not been able to sell. Deal or no deal....
I don't know if it will help anybody out but I just heard through a local dealer that Ford is extending the 0% through the end of the month. (2/28)
I was told by my dealer it would expire on 2/20, but they could possibly extend it. Guess I will have to call as I don't see it listed on Ford's site anymore.

Since early January, the Ford web site has been saying this offer is good until April 2nd of this year in my area. If you want the straight scoop on all your current offers, get it direct from Ford instead of your dealer. Of the many Ford dealers I visited before placing my order, most of them quoted me bad info (wrong dates, wrong amounts, etc) about the incentive plans. Here's the link directly from Ford...
