This Truck has been one issue after another.., the last few months it intermittently gives me issues starting. Hesitates, almost grinds but always eventually starts. Happens more often from a cold start than if it’s been running but has happened when hot as well. Had local shop check battery, starter alternator etc. any other ideas? Ready to dump it but don’t want to sell it starting like this. Attached the video from
this am. I’m currently not driving it as I don’t want to end up stranded,

Have a battery shop test the system. My local InterState Battery distributor always hooks up a machine to test the battery & electrical system.
My OEM battery lasted for almost 10 years.
With a truck that isn't driven daily, and an old battery, you will see such issues. If driven daily, the battery will continue to hold up a lot longer. I've had cars that weren't driven, where I had to jump start the car every time I wanted to drive it. Then the car will run fine once driven daily. All that I do is jump start it, drive it to work, leave it parked all day, and drive it home. Then I can drive it every day like there's no problem at all. But leave it parked for awhile......and out comes the booster pack again.
I have an 07 F150 and mine started doing that when it turned cold as in below freezing or close. I put in a new motor this time last year and brand new battery and alternator 6 months prior. Ran all the test etc..
Turns out had been getting bad gas from the local station. Went further to a BP put in tank of super unleaded and around 8oz of kerosene to evaporate the water in the tank. The gas smelled sweet almost was. the only way I knew it wasnt right. That was last month and it was 20 degrees this morning and it fires right up.
I got that grind too. Heard it’s the flexplate. Flywheel for a manual. Cheap part, expensive labor. The labor alone will eat an entire paycheck up. I just deal with it.
