48/51 used Ford Part 32924-S7 which is a cadmium plated #10 x 1/2 slotted binding head sheet metal screw with type "A" self tapping threads. These are coupled with a 34952-S7 cadmium plated #10 external countersunk lock washer.
For completeness, in 51/52, things changed to the 35738-S8 zinc plated #10 x 5/8 cross recess (Phillips oval) screw & washer assembly.
