Had a good day here, work went well, ran a few errands on the way home and got some more prep work done on the old Ford.
Pat I'm setting up a paint booth in the back of the pickup since my carport faces the SE where all the weather comes from.
Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. My old air compressor decided to permanently retire to the junk pile today, but not before filling the air with nasty acrid smoke. So, since the air hose on the big tank shop air compressor out at the farm isn't long enough to reach my house here, I went to town and got a Craftsman portable pancake machine complete with 3 tools...same thing with only one tool is $269 at Sears, $199 at Lowe's with 3 tools and then the 10% discount brought it down even lower. Didn't really need the brad gun, but my old one is really old so it just may come in handy and I already have projects lined up for the stapler (tomorrow) and then all 3 of them so distant future.

Chris, have you thought about 'walling' in a section of your car port with tarps and then hanging a red flood heat lamp for a temp paint booth? Weight the tarp bottom down with 1 gallon milk jugs filled with water.

Morning all, and happy Humpday. Went to Home Depot last night to get 48 board came home with only 22 since the rest were crap. The 22 I brought home are poor but usable. Of course they're the only place open that time of night.
I’ve had plenty of those experiences with lumber from Home Depot, Lowe’s, and Parr. They’re growing the trees faster and harvesting them sooner which leads to big wide grain and inferior quality.
