New to Broncos, I just picked up a Ford Bronco and I did a Vin decode and it gave me this motor:

8 Cylinders H 5.8L FI

Is this a Winsor?

 

It's a Windsor! (assuming it is the one in your signature).

 

351w & 5.8l are ford small block "WINDSOR" engines, "H" in vin code is supposed to be a block designation for a roller tappet camshaft in bronco, 1994 is probaly the starting year.

Completely false. The 8th position of the VIN does indicate which engine was in the vehicle when it left the factory. But it does not designate whether or not it is a roller block.

In the OP's scenario the 8th position is H which designates a 5.8L Windsor engine, that's it.
