1969 FORD E-220 C4 TRANSMISSION. Blew a ATF hose, damage?

Hi. I had a hose going to the ATF cooler blow on the highway. Didnt notice any issues running until I stopped at a red light and with the shifter in drive, I gave the 300 inline some gas and it revved up as if it were in neutral, catching after a bit more gas. I was lucky to be able to pull off into a parking lot 20 meteres away. ATF fluid everywhere, ruptured hose. I replaced the hose but only had 2 quarts of ATF fluid stored in the van, so I put it all in and drove it or 10 minutes on a back road to my destination, avoiding high speed. It drove as normal for that time.

This is a brand new rebuilt c4 and im concerned ive done some serious damage despite how smooth and normal it was running afterwards.

Somebody hold me and tell me everythings going to be ok haha

I've had that happen. Fixed the line and filled it back up. It was fine. My theory is that the fluid goes down so fast that the clutches just release and don't slip.
