Trans Hose ?? Goodyear ???
Looking at a friends axillary trans cooler on his psd this morning the hose says goodyear heater hose ???? Does anyone know if this is an acceptable hose 4 this ?? It was on the truck when he bought it and he drives alot so if its something he should change he wants 2 do it !!!!

Very specific hose for ATF. I bought some when I added my in-line spin-on. Says "transmission" right on it if I recall.
Should say something like SAE J1532. It's a higher-temp nitrile (I think) hose.
It comes in different inside diameters, so he needs to know what size when he goes to buy it.
It's a good idea to get some stainless-steel screw-type fuel line hose clamps and double-clamp (use two side-by-side) at each connection.
Water-rated hose will get VERY soft, very soon!
Your friend bought his truck from someone who didn't do his homework, at least not ALL of it!!

A special hose for circulating transmission fluid at high temperatures. The tube and cover are designed to meet OEM / SAE J1532 requirements.
