Anyone have any suggestions on good 1977ish round fog lights? I got two 1/2" holes in the top of my bumper not being used and it gets real foggy up here in the mountains when I head off to work and coming home. And the deer, bears and coyotes don't see fit to stay outta the road till they bounce off your sheet metal. It'd be cool to see them before I hear them wrecking the front end!
See the two holes? Apparently at some point there were lights in them and there was a toggle switch replacing the cigarette lighter. I installed an original lighter decause I smoke.....
Do a search but the last I knew fog lights worked best no higher than 18" off the ground.
Now driving or spot lights would work good up that high but more white light is not good in fog and why you see yellow fog lights.

Yeah that's pretty much what I was thinking. I had a set of Unity spots on a '57 Ford Custom 300 and a set on a '52 Plymouth business coupe and they were really well made and reliable so just ordered a set of the 5" Ford fogs in clear. All the other types and brands I've been looking at were either too chintzy or looked like they belong on a Honda with a giant tailpipe.

LOL that's good and I know what you are saying.
A few weeks ago I was looking for driving / spot lights that I want to mount behind the stock bumper that I will customize by cutting holes for them.
Thing is mine could not be taller than 3" to fit in the contour of the bumper.
I also did not want to pay 2 arms & a leg for them but had to shine down the road pretty good and not fall apart when I hit the first bump.
I cant remember if I saw them at Northern Tool or Harbor Freight and I forgot to look when I was in the stores for other things.
I think they also had fog lights but I was not looing for that light.
BTW did you check out LMC truck? IIRC they have lights that fit in a custom bumper they sell for your truck so that could be an option for you.

Yeah the LMC ones looked too modern for my taste. Plus I ordered center caps from them and they were chintzy and too big to go through my rim centers by like a quarter inch! Cautious of them now hahaha
You can still buy FoMoCo spotlights from Unity, so I wouldn't be surprised if fog/driving lights were still available.

I forgot about that. I would go that route over eBay if I could do it all over again. Purchased a spotlight off eBay with the fomoco stamp on it. It was cheaper than buying new.... until I had to keep buying stuff from unity to rebuild it haha
