If the seal doesn't fix it, you'll probably need another new seal - but you don't want to install it until you replace the driveshaft yoke, and the output bushing.
The tail-housing will need to come off of the transmission to do the bushing. The old bushing is probably shot, and would put undue wear on your new yoke if you left it in.
You could try not replacing the bushing and see if it holds, but if it allows the yoke to flop around too much, the seal won't last that long.
The tail-housing can probably be removed without dropping the whole transmission, so it's probably not that bad of a job - although you might need a press.
And not that it applies here, but I remember that no one could find output bushings for Borg Warner T5s, years ago, so the common trick was to use one from an AOD. The AOD version is longer and adds more support to the yoke. In those transmissions, I believe the bushing is a copper or brass sleeve which presses into the tail-housing.
