Rear of the tcase on my 94 f150, where rear driveshaft goes in, the outter seal must have gotten tore up from dirt, its leakin some fluid. I bought the replacement (which i hope is the right one) and its called the output tcase seal. My thoughts are to take out the driveshaft and buzz off the yoke with an air gun, then just pull out the old one and slide in the new one? Really need some advice on this one, would be much appreciated. Dont wanna hurt my baby lol
You have the procedure correct just match the seals b4 you install. All though when you take the old seal out it probably isnt going to be easy from corrosion n such keeping it in. Just take your time thats all.
If you have ever done a seal on a Drive pinion on a differential its basically like that since you have to take the yoke out ya kno. If you cant get it out by prying on the lip of the seal just take a hammer and a screw driver and collapse the seal and just pull it out.

As the others have said it is much like a pinion seal on a diff, just make sure it is clean around it and that you take your time. Double check the seal to be right and make sure you don't get anything in the t-case while working (dirt, metal flakes, ect) Also, take this time to refill the t-case with fresh fluid.
