I think I have my answer. The courier just delivered the Battery Tender OBD2 Charging Adapter which says 3Amp Max. Now to figure out if it will work with my Schumacher SpeedCharge 3Amp charger.

Sirius, you will not be disappointed! Will work great on your fleet. Super easy. I use it on all our vehicles to save and desulfate batteries and thus it helps fund the Coors Light fund that I value highly!!

I use this for everything I own with a battery. I would recommend without hesitation and have no relationship with the manufacturer. https://www.rvupgradestore.com/12V-8.../12248-obd.htm

ODB Charger

How do you use an ODB battery charger without leaving the door open to plug the unit in? Or do you just close the cord in the door and not worry about crimping/damaging the power cord?

Cord is flat like a lamp cord. I've closed the doors of truck and Mustangs on it and the weatherstripping closes over it no problem or if in the garage, I just leave window open a crack.....either works just fine.

why not use the ring terminals available & provided in the kits....go DIRECT To the battery.......then put the SAE (quick connector) someplace convenient for easy connect disconnect?
I ran mine to the back bumper (since I back into the driveway)....the cord runs under the garage door...if I were to ever forget to unplug the connection just pulls apart (no harm no foul).

The Schumacher SpeedCharge 3Amp charger and Battery Tender OBD2 Charging Adapter worked great. Batteries were fully charged in about 18 hours after the truck had sat for almost a month. I only drove the 2019 F-350 half a mile from the dealer to the house, so I'm not sure how well charged the batteries were from the factory. Going to try to keep the salt off the truck, especially since washing the truck at 0F is not really an option. Having dual batteries is really handy. My 2013 F-150s battery would have been fully discharged weeks ago. I'll probably install the battery terminal cables when it warms up a little, but for now this is a great option.

OBD2 connectors are reasonably robust, but they are not intended for a really high number of connect/disconnect cycles.

I would either not use the OBD2 connector or get a short OBD2 extension and leave the extension connected to the vehicle.
