Hydroboost transplant question!
Happy Saturday Ford fanatics!
Question... I'm doing a simple rear disc conversion on my 350 that has a 1988 7.3 idi and upgrading to hydro-boost to double the pressure (towing reasons)..... sourcing a four-wheeler project article with P/Ns where they did the same on a 90 model, the hydro-boost unit, and MC is easy...and used new parts ordered for '99 SD when ford introduced the 4 wheel disc with hydro. My question is do you know if a '99 power steering pump will mount to an '88 7.3 bracket?? Is it same dimensions/bolt placement? The reason is that the 99 reservoir started using a port/nipple on the neck of the reservoir for a return line where the idi's did not. If you have the answer I'd be greatly appreciative before I go trying to eyeball and measure different engines.

Not sure what article you read but the 87'-97 F-superduty (F450) hyrdroboost parts,bolt right on making for an easy conversion.

Ford250HDXLT, thank you for the link! That was an excellent read and source of parts! I think those parts are extremely similar to my list from the four wheeler article but it feels very good to see another hydro project in black and white! Thank you kindly!
