Tailgate
Had a strange occurrence yesterday. I get to the dump to unload trash and the tailgate won’t open, neither the key fob nor the tailgate button would allow to open. Hadn’t seen this one.... truck is running drivers door open, close door no help. Turn truck off no help. Restart truck no help. I can hear it clicking every time I hit the fob or the button but just won’t open. Inspect the whole tailgate everything looks completely normal, gap on both side are equal. It tried both pushing and pulling, nothing. I finally grabbed the top of the tailgate and forcefully pulled on it then pushed on it. When I pushed the right side clicked and then opened without a problem. One of my thick yard garbage bags had become wedge in the locking mechanism.
