89 f250 starting issues
i have an 89 f2(0 with the 300ci 6 Cyl. Truck was running and starting fine. My son stopped to get gas and then it would not start. Pushed it popped the clutch and it started. Got it back home and killed it and it started right back up with the key. Now it won’t start again. I jumped the solenoid and it starts. Any ideas what it could be?

I assume that when you say "it won't start again" you mean turn over. If so, it sounds like your clutch interlock switch located in the pedal area. The easy start pushing it and starting with the solenoid lead me to this conclusion. Check for switch activation and or bad switch. Sandy. There are some videos of how to bypass the switch by jumping several wires. I will not post them as the truck can start(move) in any gear without the clutch and it is not safe IMO.
