Ford Van window problem

Ford Van window problem
I have a 2001 E350. The passager window will go down but does not go back up. I removed the panel and by crossing the wires to the motor was able to get the window motor to rises the window. Next I switched the switches with new (to me) switch and still no upward movement. Puzzled!!!
