Been having problems since I changed the turbo.
The truck starts and runs, but when giving if fuel the engine seems to miss for a bit before the rpm's go up.
The only code is p2285-injector voltage low.
I have changed the icp three times and the pigtail. I had another 6.0 that ran good and took the ficm off it and put it on the truck still the same code.
Not sure where to go from here.
I have followed the wire up till it went into the bunch of wires.
Anyone ever had this problem? If so how to did you cure it?
AE just says low voltage, icp is plugged in truck starts and idles good just has problems when rps go up sounds like a stumbling miss for just a bit but if I hold the pedal steady it will level off. But sometime if I hold the rpms at a certain rps like 2000 the rpms will drop with the pedal at the same position.
Could it be possible the throttle control sensor is what is giving me trouble and how can I check it?
What I am asking is "Did you try to start or run it w/ the ICP unplugged as part of your troubleshooting (before reading the codes)?". If so, the code isn't necessarily telling you that you have a real issue w/ the high pressure oil pressure (circuit or pressure).
