Tilt Column with 4 way hazard

Got the new tilt wheel a day ago... just now started looking at wiring (while I wait for my front steering/suspension parts to arrive). typical gm style plug with the usual suspect of colored wires... The Brown wire is for hazards and I'm pretty sure my '57 doesn't have a hazard switch.. so i hope someone who has done this already can chime in.

in my simply thinking, i'm figuring that the brown wire will go to a hazard flasher which will get powered by constant 12 volt... no other wiring needed since again i'm AGAIN assuming that the wiring is all done in the aftermarket column ... ????

somebody correct me before i burn the joint down... LOL

I am so prone to overthinking stuff

Do you still have your factory wiring harness? If so, you would have to wire the flasher into the tail/marker circuit.
