Well, 113 views and no responses. I guess I'm on my on. I've been off here for a while dealing with floods and other peoples projects. I used to be on the 48-56 forum. Then we got flooded out with Harvey. Side tracked for a while with cataracts. Left eye fixed now, right eye surgery in three weeks. Still driving my 52 almost daily. Hope all is well with everyone.

Do you have a tank and it is bad?
If so may look into http://www.gastankrenu.com/ I used one of their dealers in Pa when I lived in Ct for another project tank and was real happy with the job.
I have only put 5 gal. at a time in the tank for moving but before that you could not even add 1 gal.

Thanks for the reply. My tank is too far gone to repair. I see why they don't make these; horrible design. the filler neck enters the tank on the side half way down .I'll figure it out.

Panel truck tank source

Ibuildmyown

Have tried Mid Fifty F100 in Arizona? They have an aluminum tank for the panels with straps for $460.00. When you go to their website scroll down to "Panel Truck". Good people, good website.

Called around and no one would answer the phone , I left messages and got no response. So I built my own. measured the length, divided by 17, that's how many gallons the stock tank holds. I added 8 inches to make the tank 20 gallons. Went to local metal shop and had them bend me some metal, welded it up, It's in and works great. Cost 325.00
