Set the parking brake (chock wheels for extra safety), put the truck in neutral, climb under and see if you can turn the drive shaft. If so see where the play is, Take to dealer for repair.

I’ve also had this clunking sound often when putting it in drive. I’ve have the transmission reset or reprogrammed once but may need to take back to the dealer. I’ve also had this happen, when I first crank the truck it feels as if it the truck moves or is in gear. Hard to explain but that’s my interpretation.
