Is there a way to calibrate the touch screen on the sync 2 screen. I'm having to press below what I want to select so I was wondering if there was a way to calibrate it to where I can touch directly on the option I want. Or is this one of those sync 2 MFT quirks?
Sync 2 is horrible, from not to my phone with bluetooth to skipping songs after playing for 15 seconds. I really see a sync 3 upgrade in the future as soon as I can
You an get into the Sync maint mode by doing the following:
Remove CD (if one's inserted)
Be on am/fm radio mode
Press and hold the CD eject button.
After 1-2 seconds - press and hold the right arrow (seek/ next song button)
Keep it held and once it enters the speaker test mode, you can release and cancel the test.
In the menu that pops up. Go to APM and in the menu there, you'll see calibrate touchscreen.
Sweet. I will do that. Do you press the seek arrow at the same time you're holding down the eject button or do you release the eject button then press the seek arrow?
That worked for me. Also note that once you enter the APIM settings and select touchscreen calibration you will need a stylist to press on the crosshairs to calibrate. I used the stylus from my Note 8 phone. At the end of the calibration it asked to press the enter key or Escape key, there was no enter or escape key on the screen. I have no idea if the calibration took or not.
