My local Craigslist has a 2012 6.7 engine for sale for $1000. Has a new HP fuel pump, but needs injectors. Add claims complete motor with computers.
that seems like a great price, and I am thinking about picking it up just to have and start looking for a nice 11 to 14 truck that needs a motor or to put it for sale and try to make a quick $500?
The add claims that they are moving and need a quick sale.
what do you all think?

 

Most likely a scam of some sort. Make sure it isn't stolen.

 

If the tailgate has the built in step, the tailgates worth the purchase price.

 

If I understand correctly, the OP is referring to just the engine.

It looks like I wont have time to go look at it. anyway, just too much going on right now.
