I pulled the driveshaft off the lightning this morning, the u-joints were OK but the slip joint is not so good. I can find one all day long for a regular F150 but not for a Lightning.

 

Is there a differance? I could see hd joints for the torque. All I did was build a fire at 5 the temp inside was 61 about 8 it was 67. That stupid 3 amp fuse wax loose again, wire tied it. The wood I cut last week was hickory walked outside and back in got hungry for ribs. For lunch we just went to a buffet the afternoon was recovering from lunch.

 

I found a slip joint on ebay for a lightning, ordered it and be here on Friday. I also ordered a set of front upper control arms with bushings and ball joints and I ordered a set of lower ball joints. Also ordered some back shocks.
Wife cooked here, mom in-law cooked some at her house and we went over to the mom in-laws to eat.

 

I orderec injectors for the Mazda. One day this week ebay had 15% off entire order but was for 8 hours only. Ordered tune up a ect sensor from Rock. If that does not fix the cold start problem will have to get computer rebuilt. Right now only runs off ether, but when I brought home had to start on ether but it ran after that. Got the windshield put in.

may get the tractor back together Saturday. Talked to a guy at New Holland he just did one. What he said is have to build part of the shaft in the transmission. Apparently no manual on it.

 

The yoke already shipped so hopefully it will be here by thursday and I can use the hydraulic press at work to finish the u-joints. Have to do a little clean up of the basement and move the scooter down there. Looks like it will be too cold to ride it for a while.

Called the sales manager for the Ranger. The salesman and parts lied. Tuessay night when I signed the paperwork told him I needed demenisions so I could be a trailer he gave me wheelbase not overall bought a 6x8 at TSC. He said I could pick it up the next day. I asked him to check with the pre delivery guy to make sure. Said he had 2 others but doable. Next day called him at 10 yea he is working on it. Call parts at 1130 to order a winch mount is it in stock" yes" give it to my salesman s o I will not forget it. Call at 2:00 we are leaving be there around 4. Pull the trailer an hour and half over there waited 20 minutes for them to find him. Someone heard me say I bought a 6x8 they said it would not fit need at least a 10. Guy finally showed up. Deer in headlights stare. I dont think yours is ready. Walked out in shop still on pallet " * have not seen him all day" went to parts no it not instock we had to order it". No mention of compensation . Started home stopped by tsc the had a 5,5 x 10. Since I had not registered the 6x8 they were able to do the exchange for an additional 500. Iam getting a refund on the mount the sales mgr is go7ng to comp it

No I am not a cold weather rider, already dreaming of spring.
Customer service at places is horrible nowadays. We waited over 4 hrs trying to get the scooter. The salesman called me after I sent in the survey and gave them the lowest marks on service. He gave me all kinds of excuses of why it took so long. It was behind other inventory, they don't start to put it together till you sign the paperwork, had to charge the battery. When we bought the 4 wheeler they told us up front it will take 3 or 4 hours so we can go shopping and they will call us when it was ready.

My daughter was talking smack about taking the 750 4 wheeler with her when she moves out, My wife told her straight up she was not taking it with her. They were Christmas presents for the family and they stayed here.

 

Talked to sale manger yesterday. I am getting that mount for free. Said they were going to revise the procecure for sales. He agreed that is not the way bus8ness should be done. I had already filled out the Polaris after purchase survey so they will here about from them. Don't screw with old NCO and Warrant Officers.

Point your daughter to atv trader when she finds one she likes tell truck on down to dealer and aee if she can get it financed if not no toy for her. You gave at least 2 trucks or cars.

 

 

Whoo hoo we need to get a soundbar

 

Took down the old TV and gave it to the daughter and boyfriend. I had to move the wall mount and adjust the entertainment center to get it all to fit right. It me till almost midnight just to get the TV on the wall. I will install the sound bar today. We also set up our tree, we decided to go with a fake one this year with prehung lights. The wife wanted the tree with glitter. It's beautiful but I think there is already glitter on the floor in every room of the house!!

 

Since 3 of grandkids are coming for Christmas we bought the same type tree. Wife has not said anything about putting It up. It may not up tillthe 23 rd when they get here that up to her

The VA gave me a very big present. So Christmas has come early. I pickup the big present next week. Wife got a nice gold chain. I got some tools out of layaway.

our daughter , son in law 3 grandkids coming for Christmas . Working on a platform for air matteress from 1x6 had cut last year.
