It was harder on my wife being empty nesters at first. Sometimes she make the comnent that she misses the kids, then our daughter will call with the latest version of "crap in Tx". After they hang up " I am sure glad we are not out there in the middle of it".
How much longer before you shop is open? I would not make it a habit of cleaning up the shop there, they will start to expect it and think you are the janitor.
On tracffic give it a few months and you have to go to Atlanta and have to drive 8n it again you will really hate it.
I stood in line for over 2 hours. They said more people voted today than in 2016 election. They said the line has been over an hour wait all day. I didn’t know there was that many people in our district, hell our town!
She could have but didn’t register.

you kick her butt for not registering?
we were at the election get together for our state house rep.
We have been so busy I forgot to get her to do it.
We had to drag in a non running bobcat into the shop yesterday that came from a chicken house, this is going to be a fun day. I have to get it running again and it has a hydraulic leak somewhere. The service manager was trying to get me to stay in Cartersville, he really likes my work. But he knows the Rome store will be a lot closer to home.
Hopefully you were able to get it pressure washed and there are no dead ch8ckens stuck in it. At least it not a garbage pig.
We have to vote again next month. She is refusing to concede hoping to 1. Win or 2. Drop his lead below 50 %
Not sure what going to happen at the federal level other than a bunch of money wasted on BS investigations
Could not wash it since it did not run, I vacuumed out as much chicken litter as I could but once I get it running I will take it out and give it a good bath.
The starter is junk and the battery was weak till I charged it up. There is a chance I could get the service manager job in Rome after all, the guy that was going to do it backed out and my new boss wants to talk to me about it.
I can handle it, pretty much the same as what I was doing in the Army. The boss and I are going to talk about it more tomorrow. The daughter got a job as a vet tech and starts tomorrow and I might get a promotion after a week and a half. Great news at our house today.
My boss started asking me about my supervisor experience this morning so I asked him flat out, are you looking for a service manager? He said yes and was thinking of me taking the job. The guy that was going to do it backed out on him. He sees that I am a hard worker and that I picked up everything so easy at the shop. I think the only thing that worries him is me dealing with customers since I have no real world experience doing it.
I gave our daughter the keys to the suburban last night since she has the vet tech job and my wife didn't want her to drive the Maserati anymore. I am going to change the oil in the Lightning this weekend and then start driving it next week. So if I get the service manager job then do I get to tell myself what to do? If I don't get it I still love working on the tractors more than working at Cat.
Saturday I have to winterize the water lines on the motorhome because freezing temps are coming quick.
I got my uniforms yesterday! While hanging them up we found 2 of the shirts has the logo on upside down?? I got the carb in for my backpack blower so that will be fixed today!! Taking my riding mower on Monday and start working on getting that thing running again. My crazy son was sitting up in his bed at 1:30 this morning yelling: Daddy help! He crawled up in our bed and he went right back to sleep.
