My passenger door closes nice and tight like it's posed to. My driver door is another story ! Adjust, adjust, adjust, and still it doesn't close tight. With it closed and latched, there is play with the door. Grab the handle and move the door in and out. Anyone have a solution ?

The striker plate (22008 in pic) is adjustable, there could be one or more shims (22058) between the plate and door post. Ford also sold the striker plate insert (22040) by itself.
Note: If the striker plate works loose and the door is shut, it will be difficult to reopen the door.

Thanks, I've bought new striker and shims. I just can't seem to find the magic spot on the driver door. Thought someone might have a tried and true method.
...also make sure the latch is "catching"...that means that the little star wheel is not free wheeling, clicks at each position as it rotates. If the star wheel isn't engaging, it won't hold to the striker. I believe that, as the wheel engages the striker, it will click twice. If the striker is too far outward, it will only force one click of the star and there will be play. If that's the case, move the striker inward (towards the seat) a little further to force one more catch of the star wheel. Easier to show, hard to explain.

yeah, I'm not hearing any clicks on either door. More of a slam than anything else.
