Is it possible to buy the threaded Plate in the Door? It's the Plate with 3 threaded holes that mounts the Door to the Door Hinge. I pulled my doors twice and I noticed at least one bad thread. I am thinking of cutting the Plate out and change it. I would appreciate suggestions. Thanks!
Unfortunately no Dents in our Junkyards over here!!! I could have one made or restore the threads as you suggested but would prefer one in hand. I am also interested to see the size of the Plate. Then it's easier to know exactly where to cut the door. I am not sure where to cut the Door because it's a "box" inside the Door that holds the threaded Plate.
Well......I just learned something.....I assumed they were welded in....never had occasion to remove one but.........now we know the rest of the story.........
