I think by reading here on FTE that this should be a Sterling 10.5 rear end? I can tell by the door sticker and the tag on the rear end that it is a 4.10 ratio Limited Slip but...
Is it a 10.5? I would have expected to see 10 5 somewhere in the tag?
Thinking about a locker or something better than the stock diff is giving me as far a traction go's.
If I am not mistaken, a DRW truck would have a Dana 80 in the rear end, cover definitely looks like it. Sterling 10.5s have 12 bolts for the cover and a slightly different shape.
This will help you ID the axle, it’s a D80. I put a Truetrac in my 2wd Dually and love it! Here’s the guy I bought it from, he’s raised the price significantly. I got it for $250, then he raised it to $350 and now $500…I’d contact him and see if he would negotiate on the price a little bit., Because obviously he has some leeway in what he can charge.

The tag
I kind of had the same issue when I tried to decifer the code on mine: Tag is stamped:
4.10 V2C34 UB
606775-5 LS
The door jam label it shows “axel”, “F2 and I found on this forum the following:
D1 — 3.73 limited slip, F-350
D2 — 4.10 limited slip, F-350
D3 — 4.30 limited slip, F-350
E2 — 4.10 limited slip, F-350
E3 — 4.30 limited slip, F-350
EW — 4.10 limited slip, F-350 (ambulance package)
F1 — 3.73 limited slip, F-350
F2 — 4.10 limited slip, F-350
F6 — 4.56 limited slip, F-350
So that kind of confirmed the "4.10" on the tag as well as 55mph at 1750 rpm and I guess the "LS" is limited slip, but I never found how to decifer the tag.
