If your importance is quiet none quieter that the Michelin Defender. These replaced the Michelin ltx m/s. Not the sexiest tire, but amazing tires, last forever and will do pretty well in normal snow. If you need a Mtn Snowflake rated tire I have also heard good things about the Hankook AT/M they come standard on many F150’s. However my choice is the BFG ATKO’ 2. I run them in 285/65/20’s. I’ll only get about 30,000 miles out of them but I’m conpletely happy with that for a snowflake rated soft tire that truly does move my heavy diesel in the snow.
Another vote for falken at3w for what your describing. Obviously not as great in the sloppy mud as any of the mt tires ive ran but for an all terrain ive been very impressed. I believe in many sizes they have the deepest tread when new in the class. Not silent but theyre pretty dang quiet but then again ive ran mt tires for years. Theyve worn very well on my ram 1500 and theyve been great in all "road" conditions. Theyve held there own on the skidder paths on our farms as well.
