The best ive been getting around Seattle, on a 76k MSRP truck is what they are calling invoice 72k and change. This is on an order not one on the lot. Im moving my search out to 1000 miles away or a day drive to find a dealer that will get me a better deal. Not much in the way of Rebates 1500 so far.
Just sealed the deal on a 19’ platinum. 81k MSRP I got it for $81k OTD. That included 4% sales tax, $7100 Boss Plow. I think I did fairly well.
No PCO just a $1000 upfitter rebate and the standard Ford rebates.
For Extended Warranty or Maintenance plans prices go and ask the Forum Mods for Joel's contact information or you can buy them online. Unless you plan to do the maintenance yourself, the maintenance package can be a good deal if you get it at dealer cost.[/QUOTE]
I want to bring this thread back up, and maybe people that are getting great deal on trucks being ordered can share the dealers that are making these deals. I've tried working with 5 dealers so far and none of them will touch any of the prices people are reporting on here. Im like ill fly out and drive it back. So far on a Build to order 2019 MSRP for 76k the best one dealer came in was 69,800.

Thats a good price. It’s probobly $1,500 BELOW invoice so Dealer is digging into his holdback. The only question is what are the dealer fees
We have a huge tax rate out here of 10% I have been working a deal on a 2018 that got some mild hail damage in Colorado that was 74,910 and they want 63,8 but with dealer fees 699 they are at 64,593. The only issue is I have to have someone independent go take a look at the truck and make sure its perfect before i fly out there.
STIBUILDER, do you mind sharing what you are buying with the EXACT options? This way we can determine the invoice price and see if you are getting a good deal.

Sure so the 2019 truck I was planning on ordering was MSRP 76055 invoice 71519, and one dealer said 69,800 + Tax/Lic
The 2018 that the dealer in CO has is MSRP 75,910 I dont know the Invoice on that truck but they are 64,593 OTD with zero tax/lic, ill pay that when I register it in WA
Basically both trucks are fully loaded Lariat's the 2019 just had the 5th wheel/Gooseneck, and Cab lights. The 2018 didn't have these options, figured I could live with that for the price.
Take a look at my first post (post #3) in this thread. There I detail on how to do the calculation.
For this truck, there is a 3% Total MSRP holdback on the vehicle from Ford. That means 3% of $76055 (the total MSRP) = $2281.65 is returned back to the dealer by Ford when they sell the vehicle to you. The best deals I read about have the dealer split the holdback. So 71519.04 - $1140.82 (1/2 holdback) = $70378.22. Now from that you can subtract any incentives. I think there is either a $500 incentive so that leaves you at $69878.22 + tax.
Do you have any PCO to add with that? Take a look at this thread or search this forum on how to get a PCO. You may be able to get an additional $750-$3000 off the price.
I say look at the X-Plan carefully and determine if it is the best you can do. I believe they charge a $275 fee to implement it. Add in the cost of joining EEA, $40 is what I saw, and you're adding $315 to your price. I could be wrong, but I recall that X-Plan pricing for "average Joe's" like me was a wee bit over invoice. I determined that the $500 under invoice deal I got beat that. I am still AMAZED at some of the deals that people on this forum have gotten. And I'm BLOWN AWAY by the number that have landed that $3,000 PCO! I opened an account with Ford's Customer Service Department to get a PCO in September 2018. It took two weeks, but I apparently got the low-end, typical PCO of $750. Hey, I ain't complaining. It just would have been a super early XMAS present if they'd given me that gargantuan $3,000 PCO.
As for the "fuel charge", my dealer put that on the original price summary a couple weeks ago in the same amount, $146. It was the first time I'd seen it in three separate price summaries from three separate dealerships. I said, "Say what? Fuel Charge! For what?" Turned out it was for delivery of the truck. HUH? I said, "That needs to come off." And it did.
Best of good fortune with your purchasing adventure. Mine ended last week when I ordered a 2019 F-350 6.7L CCLB Lariat Ultimate Package - MSRP $71,705, OTDP $66,103 including all fees ($378 DOC, $60 Temp. Lic. and BS-fees). That was after applying $1,750 off invoice: $500 under invoice dealer offer, $500 Rebate Cash from Ford and $750 PCO. The OTB price is minus sales tax since I'm taking delivery out-of-state and paying the tax directly to my county of residence where the sales tax is 2.65% less. The dealer offered to drive the truck to the next state where I'll meet them and document delivery out-of-state with a notary. I considered that SERVICE ABOVE AND BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY.
The fuel charge is a legit charge and is billed by Ford. It is on every DORA and is built into the invoice price. If they were trying to charge you again for it, then that is shady. It is not for delivery kf the vehicle, it is for the full tank of fuel you get.
