Glow plug ses light bypass?

Glow plug ses light bypass?
Is there any way to add a resistor or some this to bypass the ses light. I have a e99 that has codes for the glow plugs on both banks but they work fine. They all ohem good. Valve cover gas kits are only a year old and I installed the large white Rodgers relay. Ses light still just stays on and would hate for something that needs to be addressed come up and be overlooked thinking it’s still glow plugs. Thanks in advanced

Then your wires are crossed somewhere. There are 5 wires on the GP side of the relay. One small one goes on the main post of the relay. The two big ones go on either side of the shunt and one small wire on each side of the shunt. The PCM is monitoring amps at each of the 3 wires. It expects to see a difference between the one on the main post and the two on the shunt. That is how it verifies the GPs are working on either side. If the amps are equal it triggers the code you are getting. Since you are getting codes for both sides, it is either a dead relay or bad wiring.

I can't see a wire on the center terminal on the strap. With the picture provided the best I count is 5 wires on the GP side at about 11:00 o'clock position and maybe 6 wires on the the GP side at about 2:00 o'clock position. That center wire on the strap is important because the PCM uses it as a reference voltage. If that is the case then one of those wires needs to be moved to the center bolt strap from the 2:00 o'clock position wiring to the center strap bolt. It's probably one of the wires that have been extended , but don't know for sure. You might need to cut back into the harness assembly a bit to find the true color code.
