glow plug codes
97 powerstroke eng light and hard starting in cold. codes are p1391,p1393,p1396.codes reset, but comeback after a couple of starts.the 1391 is current low right bank,1393 is current low left bank, and 1396 is monitor fail left bank.could all my glow plugs be bad, or just the relay?

the gpm(glow plug module, must be a truck from cali) monitors current to each bank of glow plugs if the current is less than normal it will throw a code for that bank. it could be only one, or more bad glow plug per side. since you have to go into each side you should just replace them all. to make sure it is the glow plugs you should ohm test them at the valve cover plug first.
