Backup alarm electrical ?

Getting ready to order my '19 F 350, want the backup alarm but am told the factory install I cannot wire it thru the upfitter switches as there is not way of doing that. My '17 I added the backup alarm since it did not come with it and ran it thru the Upfitter switches.

I use the back up alarm, but do not want it being turned on every time I put it in reverse.

Any of you guys rewired the OEM backup alarm to take it from Reverse to the Upfitter switch? Or should I just get it without and install after I buy it like I did on my 17?

no reason you cant have a relay brake power at the sounder controled by your upfitter switch

I just bought a backup alarm and wired it to switch #2. I put it in the same place that ford does. Works great.

There is an off function to disable it when you start to back up. Little harder than an upfitter switch but thumb-operated on the steering wheel.

I have never seen such on any of my truck with it, can you take a pic or describe more.

NOTE the back up alarm aka garbage truck beeper is very LOUD, the back warning that appears on the dash when you put it in R is a sound only heard inside the cab, just to make sure we are talking same same.
