I don't know where the factory mounts it, but if you find it cut the positive wire going to it and seal it off permanently. And "if" you have the up-fitter switches, run a wire from a switch to the existing alarm, this way you can use it when its needed.

X2, ran mine thru the upfit #3 so I turn it on and off as needed.
Bonus: Was at a festival Sat and had to get into the area to load up, drove thru the crowds that were walking the street and hanging around after close. Flipped on my #3 and the alarm comes on, catching their attention, sure helped me get thru the crowds easy, so it works going forward or in reverse...
