Anyone got an idea of how to get it unstuck, won't budge, feels like it's gonna break before it will move. I've tried penetrating oil, WD40, Diesel, ATF/acetone...even letting it sit in the valley for a few days...and nothin...out of ideas.
The reason is to set it back to stock timing..tired of running premium all the time.
Try taking a 2x4 and lying it length ways over each fender. Then use a ratchet strap and wrap it around the dizzy. Then see it will budge. You may want to remove the rotor and cap prior to trying, if you haven't already done so.
I would also use a towel or something on each side of the fender. I've also seen a bottle jack used as a means to pop it loose from the housing. Patience is the key here.
