5r110 issues

I'm getting a code for solenoid D which is the "direct clutch solenoid" and having trouble shifting from 3rd to 4th.

would that solenoid also cause my reverse gear to be jumpy or could I also have something wrong with my reverse solenoid?

The direct clutch is also used in reverse so it can cause reverse issues.

You are probably looking at a burned up direct clutch. Been there, done that.

I assume that's a total rebuild?

Also...I just replaced the direct clutch solenoid and am still having the same issue.

I did the same thing when I smoked a direct clutch.

You're looking at a full overhaul unfortunately. Sorry, it sucks, I know.
