strange problem need advice????
Okay guys i got a 1994 ford f150 with a 300I6 and a 5spd tranny. My only problem is that when my truck is on a incline it doesnt want to go in reverse whatsoever but if the truck is level it goes into reverse no problems. what do you guys think this is. I have been told it could be the yoke or maybe reverse is going out.

I'm not real familiar with light duty 5 speeds but it sounds like a problem with a shift bar or yoke.The weight of the sliding gear may be pulling the reverse bar out of alignment with the other shift bars.I've heard of this problem before but never heard the cause.
