No problem. I read a post somewhere where someone said the 6.2 couldn't handle 35" tires. I have had 34" on my 2011 for 6 years and have plenty of power
35” & Taller Shoes Hurts MPG on a Gas Eng & Overdrive doesn’t like the taller tires at all.
4.30 Gearing helps somewhat but you’ll still have constant downshifting.
This doesn’t seem to be near as bad on the new 250’s with the new transmission. I’m comparing my 2017 with a 2016. Both trucks running 35x12.50’s and very similarly equipped. Both trucks have 3.73 gearing. The 2016 seems like a dog compared to the 2017. Not to give the transmission all the credit, ford also tweaked the 6.2 to produce more torque and gets to max torque at a lower rpm. They will lose about 1/2 - 1 mpg, but even my Cummins lost mpg’s when going to 35’s.
