Quick question to throw in here. I have an 04 with the old style HPOP that I think is going bad. Just pulled it off and the feed tube to the branch tubes. The o-rings are flattened but not brittle yet. Inside the feed tube there is an o-ring and behind it was what looks like the Teflon o-rings you see on the dummy plug/standpipes, is this correct?

Yep, that sounds correct.
I'm pretty sure you can get just the parts for the j tube, without replacing the tube.
Anyone know of a webpage that has a parts breakdown with numbers? I've been looking and have most of what I need, but I still need the numbers for that j-tube inside o-rings and the turbo oil supply and return gaskets/o-rings.

Just telling you what the web site specifically states .............. probably an error on their part.
"2003-2004 FORD 6.0L POWERSTROKE (BUILT BEFORE 9/23/03)"
The pumps (03, early 04, and late 04) are certainly interchangeable, but be aware that (IIRC) the branch tube changed in late 04.
The turbo oil supply and drain changed somewhat for the late 04 also.

Actually the branch tube would have changed quite a bit Mark, as the early builds have a threaded stand pipe, and of course the late build stand pipe threads at the oil rail, not down inside the branch tube.
That, and the stand pipe is in a different location altogether between builds.
The manual states to not reuse the early branch tubes if removed. When I pulled mine they made a 1/4 turn before breaking loose and the twist set in the tube. No way I was putting it back regardless of what the manual said. My advice, leave them alone unless you intend to replace them.

I guess I'll find out this weekend or whenever UPS is done rerouting my oil cooler and intake gasket set. Thank you all for the input it is very appreciated!
