I wasn't sure where to post this so seeing as this is the most pertinant forum for me I'll put it here....
Has anyone seen or know of a guidebook for restoration projects? It's been brought up quite a bit here but I haven't seen a specific response. I heard of a "hot rodders bible" once but didn't see the actual book either. The guidebook would list things to watch for specifically, explain how best to keep track of changes, how to record parts changes peculiar to your own vehicle etc.. You know, kind of a baby book for trucks.
Thanks Mil1on, it looks really good. I'll give it a shot.
Does it list any recommendations on how to keep track of any modifications to equipment or electrical etc.? My memory isn't what it once was, as I recall anyway.
I use a small notebook that stays with the vehicle to list mods and non std parts etc. I also list them in my Chilton/Haynes manual also for reference.
I've started something similar, listing every part number I can get off the parts as I take them off. Most I take pictures of as well, although a digital camera would come in handy.
Of course there's tons of good info to come from this site and some of those specs I keep as well for future reference.
