Cabela's Ed.

Now, I am sure there may have already been a topic on it, but what do y'all think of the new 2009 F250/F350 Super Duty Cabela's Edition.

Cabela's -- Guidebook Story

I think it looks pretty cool myself and wish I could have one.

But do you think it is a good idea as another sub-model or is it worthless to have?

Borat voice " Very niiice"

I like the locking gun box under the seat.

Best thing I bought for my truck were the Cabela's " trail master seat cover"

They do something like that they should make it a real hunting machine.

Kinda build it up like the Power Wagon. Put some lockers in it, a nice mud tire, sway bar disconnects.

Maybe a heavy duty front and rear bumper with a winch. Factory mounted CB.

The list can go on and on..........

All tho it does look pretty good the way it is..

I really like the under seat gun case as well, nice feature. To me the two tone interior looks good as well.

Nice truck. I believe the package will add an additional $5300 onto the sticker price, so depending on the engine it can easily get up to $55K.

Like you said, it will all depend on which engine you choose. There are also 2 different Cabela's packages available as well, so that will make a difference. There is the basic Cabela's Package which MSRP's for $2,375 or a Cabela's Luxury Package which MSRP's for $5,390. Either package is only available on FX4 Crew Cabs w/ auto trans. You could get into a basic one for a little over $43K, but just as easily get well into the mid 50's with a loaded Cabela's Luxury diesel...

i like the leather interior design/color better then the KR edition..

think the front bumper should be body color thou...the rear bumper can stay grey.. as it would better match the lines of the 2-tone effect...

if money were no object i could easily see myself owning one of those...

A good addition to any hunting rig would be some kevlar floormats... A guy at work used his f150 to go hunting and now he has a nice drain hole and a new tranny.... Why not offer some bullet proof floormats with those lockable gun cases?
