Tons of options on eBay and Amazon. Just search for the bulb number and pick your color. A lot of people recommend the site superbrightleds. There are others, but the nice part about sights specializing in LEDs, they can guide you by the vehicle. When I pulled up a 1979, there were several options for dash light bulbs. I seem to recall mine having 161s when I swapped to LEDs, but I wouldn't swear by it. The 161 and 194 are interchangeable though and picking either takes you to the 194 LED. http://www.superbrightleds.com/morei...91&scc_id=1416
i got mine at HiPo Parts Garage https://www.hipoparts.com/led-gauge-lighting-kits/
Comes with very detailed instructions, i got the Elite Series II in blue along with fluorescent blue needle restoration paint.
My truck is still spread out all over the backyard so my gauge cluster isn't ready to be reinstalled and i haven't even tried it yet.
However, with that kit is not included a '194' blue LED for the heater controls so you'll have to buy one somewhere else (i got mine from Amazon seller SiriusLED)
Just in case you're considering going with a color other than white I'll show you some red ones I put in my Bronco for the hell of it. They're not dimmable, but that wasn't a concern for me since I like them on the brighter side. I put them in every slot on the dash, so even the heater controls are red. Oh joy! lol
