Hey there, I have very weak dash lights and have heard to replace with LED bulbs. I found some on eBay for 3.99 each. If I replace them do I need anything else since going to LED from regular bulbs? And I've seen where I'll prolly have to remove the blue caps. Has anyone changed to LED? And how do they work? They are for my 1982 Ford F100.
I just got finished poking the caps out of my 86 ranger. I do not mind the yellow light of the original bulbs, so I do not change them to LED's or colored bulbs. Taking the caps out makes the biggest difference.
They mention that they will only light up when put in one way to the way I did it was I left the cluster plugged in but not attached, and then I plugged in each light one by one to make sure they'd light up. All in all I'm pretty satisfied with them.
