Picked up a new to me 2014 f150 supercrew, 5.0, 4x4, 6.5 bed. Got this truck with 39k miles, delaer said 12 month/12k mile warr. Had it for about a month, dropped it off to have the A/C checked, it was taking too long to get cool and just not cool enough to take it off MAX and HI blower. Truck is also pulling to the left all the time. Took it into where I buy all my tires, DT. They rotated and balanced the tires, still pulling. Got the first update, A/C compressor was going bad, new one installed. I just hope compressor pieces didn't go down into the condenser. Now I hope they get the pulling to the left fixed.
Saw plenty of old post where guys swapped out the center front seat for a console. To those guys, do these two parts just swap, on the same base? I also want to put remote start on with the IN key start switch, don't want a fob on my key ring. Saw where there is a kit if I have the under hood on off switch. Many video's, but still hear a lot of complaints about electrical gremlins after being done. Are any of you guys that have done this, unhappy with the results?
I did the remote start plug and play kit on my 13 FX4 with great results, I used FORscan for the activation part and my local dealer cut the keys for free. You will need both of the registration keys that came with the truck in order to make the new keys work.
