Mine stopped working twice. I pulled the battery cables, someone else posted that they pulled the fuse to the entertainment center. I'll probably go the fuse route next time, with the truck off and the key out of the ignition pull the fuse, wait a minute, put it back in and give it a shot. It's actually called Windows Embedded Automotive 7. Hence the need to reboot it sometimes. Every once in a while my radio will lock up so I'll pull the fuse, put it back in and all is good again.
It seems like apple carplay and Sync are constantly trying to fight one another. The screens jump back and forth. Now the sync doesn't work as OP mentioned.
