Sync button not working

I can help you with that. Can you specify which SYNC prompt you're referring to? Are you referring to the voice command button or one of the other steering wheel controls?

I have had the 13 and now 14 with the sync touch screen, I still cant figure out how to do voice command, I pushed every button and still doesn't work,,you could be right there could be an off button somewhere..curious to see what Antonio has to say..

it is on the right side of the steeering u press the button then speak but the button didnt work

what button, your talking about the phone button looks like a handset?

Do you have sync ? How could you not use it? It is the main button to control the screen. You could use the touch screen but then why buy the sync system. Truck only has 200 miles on it

If the voice command button isn't responding, your system could be experiencing a software or hardware fault. PM your VIN and I'll see what other options there are to get the system restored, depending on your version of SYNC.
The voice command button may vary in exact location and appearance, but is signified by this symbol:
The button will respond to a single firm press, followed by an immediate release. Some SYNC newbies might make the mistake of holding down the voice command button for a couple seconds, which doesn't work. Just a single press should get SYNC to prompt you for a voice command.

Antonio, I found it and mine works..Been using it for the phone and seems to work ok..gets confused from time to time on names but it prompts you to say what it needed to make call. I can tell you on my F150 it didn't work..I like so far,, keeps your eyes on the road and hands on the wheel..Thanks!

i am not overly impressed with the whole sync system thing. it does not hear me well and gets confused when i speak .
the turn by turn sux too, I see i will need a nav system

yup that`s the symbol. The sync started working again maybe it needed a update.does it update from the net on its own?
